Though I merely began to practice it, I consider it already rather freeing to allow myself to hold my own perspective and keep my views without being afraid of condemnation or misunderstanding. I have always tried to make excuses for what I think and feel, for my mind automatically thought that, without doing so, I could not be verified. I do not have be verified by someone else; it is enough to forgive myself. Others might criticises me for reasons, but that essentially does not have any influence whatsoever on whether I would be able to live with peace.
